It’s the end of an era. Gone are the days of the skinny, the super skinny + the I-literally-can’t-breathe skinny jeans. Today, we introduce (and praise) the new denim trend: the slouchy skinny jean aka the fitted boyfriend jean… aka the wiggle room jean. Somebody pass the pizza!
There is one thing to keep in mind when styling this new closet classic. Make sure the hem hits right above the ankle (the skinniest part of the leg). When it comes to the slouchy skinny, if they’re too long they risk looking like a pair of Hollister jeans circa 2002. But hey, those could make a comeback.
