FLORALS FOR SPRING

Groundbreaking. Taking an otherwise simple trend + making it Miranda-approved. Or better yet, how I made it Anna-approved.

Wearing this floral printed Alice + Olivia dress to my first meeting at Vogue a couple of years ago was a major risk. Sporting a bold, floral print was, well, a bold move. If this was going to be the dress I wore to be in the presence of Anna Wintour herself, then I needed to add a twist to this notorious spring trend. I opted to keep it cool with this oversized denim jacket + balanced out the grunge with a sleek red sandal and bright lip. By the end of my first meeting of the week at Vogue, I was sure Anna was going to adopt me. Starting to think the paperwork got lost in the mail, or something.
